  • HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
The school districts of Center, Grandview, Hickman Mills, Independence, Lee's Summit and Raytown pay tuition for 11th and 12th graders to attend Herndon. Students interested in Career Pathways offered at Herndon need to contact their counselor early in their high school years since each school has a limited number of slots available. Selection of students will be based on high school criteria including prerequisite courses, attendance, and achievement.

If slots are still open after enrollment by these districts, students from other area high schools may attend in programs not available at their designated area career and technical centers.

ALL HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS MUST CONTACT THEIR HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELOR TO ENROLL AT HERNDON.

  • ADULTS (POST-SECONDARY STUDENTS)

Obtain an Adult Application for Admission from the Herndon Career Center Office located on the East Campus or see Word document HowToApply. Send this completed application with a $50 nonrefundable deposit (check or money order) to the Herndon counselor. When a student is accepted into a program, this deposit will be applied toward the tuition.

ALL ADULTS MUST MEET WITH HERNDON COUNSELOR TO DISCUSS CAREER GOALS AND FINANCES PRIOR TO ENROLLMENT.

Call 816.268.7140 for an appointment early in the admission process.
